Shih Tzu Clothes

Most adult Shih Tzus wear size S – M, with a chest girth of about 14–19 inches (36–48 cm). Always measure your own dog – chest girth is what matters most.

Measure around the widest part of the chest behind the front legs, add about 2 inches for comfort and match it to the size chart. Check neck and back length for coats and hoodies.

Many Shih Tzus are more comfortable in a sweater or insulated coat below about 32°F (0°C), especially in wind or wet snow.

We only list styles whose own size chart covers a typical Shih Tzu chest (14–19" plus about 2" of room). It's a starting point – always check your own dog's measurements.
