Yorkshire Terrier Clothes

Most adult Yorkshire Terriers wear size XS – S, with a chest girth of about 10–14 inches (25–36 cm). Always measure your own dog – chest girth is what matters most.

Measure around the widest part of the chest behind the front legs, add about 2 inches for comfort and match it to the size chart. Check neck and back length for coats and hoodies.

Many Yorkshire Terriers are more comfortable in a sweater or insulated coat below about 32°F (0°C), especially in wind or wet snow.

We only list styles whose own size chart covers a typical Yorkshire Terrier chest (10–14" plus about 2" of room), and there must be an XS, XXS or a size with a chest of 14" or less. It's a starting point – always check your own dog's measurements.
