Chihuahua Clothes

Most adult Chihuahuas wear size XXS – S, with a chest girth of about 9–14 inches (23–36 cm). Always measure your own dog – chest girth is what matters most.

Measure around the widest part of the chest behind the front legs, add about 2 inches for comfort and match it to the size chart. Check neck and back length for coats and hoodies.

Many Chihuahuas are more comfortable in a sweater or insulated coat below about 32°F (0°C), especially in wind or wet snow.

We only list styles whose own size chart covers a typical Chihuahua chest (9–14" plus about 2" of room), and there must be an XS, XXS or a size with a chest of 14" or less. It's a starting point – always check your own dog's measurements.
